winter retreat in kerala, south india - fully booked

12th - 25th February 2012
With Zoë Martin

The retreat will take place in a lovely private house called Kailasam, situated in the seaside village of Kovalam. It overlooks paddy fields, and is surrounded by coconut palms and is a three minute walk from the Arabian Sea.

The house is set in its own colourful garden which houses a massage and ayurveda treatment room where you can take advantage of the ancient healing and rejuvenation arts of South India.

The venue can sleep a maximum of 11 people (5 single rooms, 1 double room and 2 twin rooms). The comfortable guest-bedrooms are all en-suite, with western-style toilets and showers. All rooms are attractively decorated and have hot water, ceiling fans and mosquito nets on the windows.

A yoga retreat is an opportunity to withdraw from the routine of daily life and dedicate time to deepening and enhancing your relationship with yoga in a peaceful environment. The primary focus of the retreat will be on practice - āsana, prānāyāma, mantra and dhyāna.  This will be balanced with free time for space, stillness and reflection or exploring the exotic surroundings.

Participants will leave feeling inspired, nourished and more relaxed.

The cost starts at
£610 for 13 nights, this includes accommodation, breakfast, all yoga tuition and transfers to and from the airport.
