Originally training with the
Sivananda School, Zoë's love for
yoga has drawn her to study
and practice different forms and
traditions.
Her style of teaching
is intuitive
and creative and
inspired and informed by her
experience of Sivananda yoga
as taught by Swami
Vishnu
Devananda, Ashtanga yoga as
taught by Sri K Pattabhi Jois
and more recently the approach
of T.K.V Desikachar and
Erich Schiffmann.
Zoë's classes focus on slow
flowing, organic sequences
of postures combined with
long held poses to increase
inner awareness, strength,
stamina and flexibility.
Zoë encourages those who
practice with her to build on
or develop their own authentic
yoga practice through the
practice of Asana, Pranayama,
Meditation and Chant.
Her teaching experience is
diverse ranging from group
classes, one to one work,
pregnancy yoga and more
recently in the field of mental
health.
Zoë is a certified yoga,
meditation and pregnancy yoga
teacher.
